Hey guys, iv got a 2012 dyna wide glide. Got the bike with the orange flamed gas tank and I like it, but now I really want a solid black tank. I'd really like to keep the tank I have now as a spare so I can keep the stock paint and have it in case anything happends but I'm having trouble finding another one in good condition. I don't know a whole lot about the tanks such as what years could fit on one another but I do know I need a fuel injectied tank. Anyone know of anything?

 

try ebay they should have some you can order then paint yourself or have someone paint the way you want.

 

Any Dyna tank will bolt on your frame, the difference is in the console. If you don't mind a different console get a complete tank off ebay, if you need to keep the console then look at the different models, anything with the same stock console is a direct swap.

As far as EFI vs carb, no difference in the tanks, just the petcock setup. You can use either as they are the same.
