My Street Bob Build Update

My Street Bob Build Update
Well I know it's been forever. I've spent the past ~3 years building and riding rigid Sportsters, so my Street Bob has been neglected on the battery tender (shameful, I know). Well a couple months ago I was finally able to pay it off so it got put on the lift and stripped down.
Since a couple things are a bit unusual I wanted to share with the group. Here's a bit of what I've done the past month or so...
- Rewired the bike getting rid of all switch housings and installed a hidden start button
- Biltwell Whiskey Throttle (single cable)
- Chopped the rear fender (currently bed liner but off to powder next week)
- Installed a custom tank from Cory over at Maindrive Cycles (uses a Sporty fuel pump)
- Had my buddy Ryan lace a 21" wheel up to my stock hub
- Shaved and painted (bed liner) my fork lowers
- Relocated Speedo (used the original forward tank mount)
- Jockey Shift
- Side mount plate setup
I'm still waiting on my bars to come in from Stephan over at Zombie Performance (16" Riserless with a stash tube) as well as a new 200 White Wall for the rear.
Hope all is well with everyone.
P.S. - since I've been gone for so long, an update on my personal Sporty I built. It took Best in Class for the second year in a row at the Republic of Texas Rally.

Love what you did to the Bob... Especially the white walls... I traded in my Sporty because I wanted more legs & hated having to stop for gas every 90 or so miles- but gotta admit it looks good with that Sporty tank. Can't wait to see how it turns out once everything comes back from powder... Nice work!

Well I bought it new in 2006 and it was my daily rider for a few years so it's got a little over 40K on the motor already. But yeah, I'll take it out more now. I've ridden my sporty every day for several years now, including three trips from Austin, TX to California and back.
