If you count riding dirt bikes then I've been riding for over 25 years! My first bike was a 5hp Briggs and stratton, then a Honda 70 automatic 
then a Honda xl125, then a Yamaha yz250, then a Honda cr500 which was one fast *** bike, then a Honda magna 700, then a HD 883traded the 883 for my Dyna. Next up is a Fat Boy !!!!!! Been riding street bike for about 3 years.

Christmas '96 my wife bought me my phirst street bike phor 200 bux. an obscenely used '81 KZ440. thing was a death trap, but i rhode it phor years.
pix is phrom the night i got it. it was in sad shape.
got my phirst Harley in May of '04, XL883.

Bought my first realroad bike March 06 (Suzuki Boulevard) Put down 7800 miles on it before I bought my Bobber on Sept. 19, 2006 and have about 2700 miles on it. But if you count all the time I put on my road legal Honda Trail 110 over my high school years before that, I've been riding for about 7 years!

First bike in 1966 (a 1963 BSA 250cc single - SS80)
My last bike an '07Street Bob, bought September last year.
Married 32 years this year (to the same wife) and no time off for good behaviour! I do keep introducing her as my first wife, just to keep her on her toes!
