Default Issues restarting bike

I own a 2003 carburated FXDL. I have no problems at all starting and having the engine run from a cold start; however most of the time after I go someplace I have a issue with the bike wanting to kick over and usually when it does it acts like it isn't getting any fuel. If I give it some thottle it usually dies. If I let it run, it finally will run correctly without giving it any throttle. The bike has new plugs and screaming eagle plug wires. The bike has been doing this for a while. The bike has 33k on it.

I would start with the choke, sounds like it may be sticking somewhere. Buddy of mine just picked up an 05 FXDC and it ran real rough, wound up being dirty jets, could be your problem as well.

Choke is working fine. It acts like it isn't firing both cylinders correctly. It idles real low, even though you just rode it, and if you give it gas it dies. Usually I wait for the idle to some what idle correctly and then when it runs its almost like the bike is cold so either I apply some choke or just ride it. Of course the engine is hot when this happens. I was thinking it may be the jets or the coil? I've been adding carb/injector cleaner with every fill up, but so far it hasn't worked. I need ideas and I hope I can fix the problem versus a expensive repair bill...
