Battery died, jumped but ran rough
Ok so today I went for an hour ride. Stopped for about a half an hour and then the bike wouldn't start. Just a couple click click clicks. I was able to push start it but once it got running, it sounded like it was misfiring and then it stalled out. It happened a couple of times. I jump started it and it did the same thing. I disconnected my battery tender quick connect cables and it started and ran fine. Don't know if the problem was the battery, the tender cables, or maybe just disconnecting and reconnecting the terminals solved it although they were clean and tight. My question is if my battery is on its way out or even if the terminals weren't connected well, if I DID start the bike, would it still run rough and stall?

I had the same issue on one of my rides that was losing power in the wiring loom ended up pulling the front light to alllow me to ride it for about 30mins before it died then I would have to jump again and repaet until I got home, turned out to be the wiring under the frame (1200 sportser).
So not exaclty the same issue but the same symtoms
