I want to get rid of my integrated risers on my 2012 street bob.

Will the 2012 Wide Glide part# 47661-08 just swap out so I can put whatever risers I want on?

 

No. Wide glide do not match up. Your options are 2006 or 2007 street bob, and probably the new 2013 as well.

Not sure about the superglide or FXDL trees.

Also, Joker Machine makes one as well as Loner Industries. I think the Loner Industires one will be your best bet, and probably cheaper than ordering from Harley.

 

I wanted to order the Loner one but they are out of stock

 

The new 2013 Bobs have a standard tree again, you could check to see the cost on one of those at your dealer.

The Joker machine was is expensive, and it does not look stock.

Trees from an '06 or newer Super Glide would work also.

 

WHY would they EVER put integrated tree/riser on a bike?
You cant change anything out,,,,

O well new parts are on the way.

 

At least they changed it back on the '13s.

 

You can use Fat Bob or Wide Glide trees. You just have to use both upper and lower trees. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US That is the Fat Bob trees already in gloss black. All you need is the risers and some wheel and caliper spacers.

Honestly though, I don't mind my integrated risers, once I powdered them black. I look at them as just 2 less critical bolts that can vibrate loose. The only reason I am swapping is because I want wider front end and not for the risers.
