Most of the guys that are wheelin these Dynas are running well setup Evos or 95-97 inch Twincams that are making over 100/100 tq/hp and beefed up clutches so 2nd gear wheelies are very possible.
If you arent concerned about running to high of RPMs on the interstate you can also lower the final drive ratio by altering the gearing with a chain drive conversion.
ive tried clutching it up in first a few times but the front only lifts a few inches. any of you wheelie experts got any advise on how to get the wheel higher and ride it out. or is it all just practice
I've been playin around with my suspension, preload, and front height, I read earlier that lowering preload is the best way, but everywhere else Ive read stiffening it up works best? I stiffened it up a while back, it would just hook up on clutch and take off like a rocket. Ive got 11" progressive rears. Any one got some set up tips?
One more reason why I bought my T Sport from out of state and the dude that owned it was not a wheelie kinda guy.
Lol! That was awesome! I've never seen, or even considered, big twin Harleys doing wheelies. Watching that video it was like all the gears in my brain crunching against eachother. I mean, I saw it.. but didn't believe I was seeing it. I was never a wheelie guy myself even in my sport bike days, but that was way more impressive. Thanks for posting that.
