Default Baffling ideas

I've recently acquired a 2005 Dyna. I'm not sure what the pipes are but they are LOUD. I did some research and they look like Samson Big Guns Street Sweepers 2 1/4". Can any of you guys confirm that?

Anyway, my main question: There are no baffles made for these pipes. Straight baffles won't go in apparently because of the turnouts. Anyone got any ideas for baffling them? Bunched-up chicken wire has been suggested..

Loud pipes are sweet.

Old washer trick. Weld threaded rod to a washer that is a bit smaller than the radius of the pipes. Drill a hole on the inside of the pipes. Insert washer in pipes putting threaded part through drilled hole. Two ten mil bolts. One to set the washer one to lock in place. Quiet it down a bit but also giving well needed back pressure.
Did that on my 97 Evo that's so loud. Also it did a lot better on the dyno!
That's all I have for you

you could search ebay for a set of vance and hines baffles from a pair of big radius 2-2 pipes since the baffles are curved. you'd have to modify them to work (cut them short) but they might work out.

heres something i did on my old 80 ironhead. PO gutted the cycle shacks and it ran like crap and was pretty loud. so i put this together. didnt quiet it down a whole lot, but i was going more for back pressure on this one. the bigger the eyebolt and fill in you do the more it will quiet it down.

chickenwire/fiberglass and a torque cone might be in the works?..... idk exactly what you're trying to do. Quiet it down a lil bit and get more Back Pressure? or just get some more backpressure? if that's the case some T.Cs would benefit at the heads.

I just want to quieten it down as I live in a quiet street. The cops will also have me before too long! I was thinking of rolling some chickenwire or stainless mesh sheet I have, wrapping it in fibreglass and pushing it into the pipe where the roll would expand.

Are the pipes themselves turned out or is it just the heat shields? If the bend is just in the heat shields you're all set to use whatever baffle you want.
