I've Gone To The Dark Side.
I sold my Road King and bought an 2001 FXDXT with about the same mileage as my King and very, very little mods done.
Basically a stock bike.
Looking forward to getting it out here to SoCal and changing it up.

Cool! Welcome to the dark side.
The monthly Satanic Cult club rides begin at midnight the day of full moon.
I think you'll find it's great being black.

Can't believe you sold that sweet Classic ... oh well ... great replacement bike, by the way ...
When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought you installed a car tire on the rear ...
Welcome to the Dyna forum ... be sure to post up pics of your new bike ...

I can't lie, it's gonna be hard not having that bike. But, I'm bored with it and want something else.
It's all fun!

Never has a Road King but have had two touring models and believe that you will have a blast with the new bike. I enjoy my Dyna more than the other Harleys previously owned, period. Welcome to the broadest spectrum of Harley riders and customizers on the forum, shoot, maybe the world... tomp dd50

Thanks man. It's got some ugly buckhorn bars and forward controls, and a Mustang seat. Other than that it's stock!
Switching to mids as soon as I get it here and bars as well.
