Default '06 six speed tranny Vs '07

Does anyone know if there is aany difference in the six speed tranny that comes on the '07 Vs the one that came on the '06's?

Are the final gear ratios the same? Is the '07 more robust?

Yes there is a changein gear ratio (overall)between 06 and 07 Six Speed Transmissions. The HD Website has this information.

The gear ratio was changed to compensate for the displacement increase. According to HD there has been an increase in low end torque...and while HD hasn't said it, I've heard that some horsepower may have been lost on the top end...but don't quote me on that. Maybe someone knows more about that.
