I saved about 40 photos from this forum for reference. I'm purchasing my first HD a 2000 super glide. Hopefully in the next few days. There are so many great ideas in this forum. I can't wait to contribute.
Question, what bars can be used to replace the stock bars without needing to use longer cables? Bike currently has 2" risers and pullback bars. But I'd love to put on some drag bars or mini apes.

Got mine used a couple years ago, 2007 FXD Superglide. I have gotten most of the parts off the forums or craigslist.
Just before I ride it home from the dealer:
Swapped exhaust to Rush slip ons, made a home brew A/C cover, put on FXDB mini apes, and added throw over bags (never like them as throw overs)
Swapped stock headlight for 7" bucket, swapped seat for FXDB solo seat (this is my second favorite setup):
Changed to a solo bag, painted mags, removed reflectors and strut covers, did the "Mudd Mod" on my stock A/C cover, modded an old Emgo Viper fairing to work:
Plastidipped my tank to two-tone, as well as my fork lowers, turned old throw over bags into quick detach strut-mounted bags:
Added pin striping to tank, fairing, battery/ fuse covers, and fenders, installed sissy bar and Viking Spear rigid bags:
And here is how she sits now - back to stock headlight, Mustang Fastback seat, Memphis Shades Gauntlet fairing, Rush 2:1 exhaust system:
I'm sure I missed some small mods in there, but you get the idea.
