Default need an opion from wide glide lovers (or haters) plz

a friend of mine has a friend thats selling a wide glide. its an '05 fuel injected, customed and loved, lots of extras, blue with the flames. assload of miles i think 35k + but i dont really care about that. all i have ever had are sportsters, i know theres some differences in handling, accelleration, that sort of thing. so my question is...do you think ill love it or hate it? is it just a "grown up" sportster? am i gonna feel like a spec perched on top of this thing? (i am 5'9" 170#). id just go ride the thing and i plan to, but it is many miles away. i guess i could rent one or test ride one from the stealer huh. appreciate any opionions plz.

I love my '07 WG. Handles good, no issues.

I love the wideglide, and think it handles well. I don't hink you can go wrong with one.

But if you want a Dyna that handles most like the sportster you should check out a street bob.

I just bought a 2012 Wide Glide this past Saturday. So far Im loving it. At 6'3 and 220lbs it is the only bike I felt fit me besides the baggers. Im still going to change a few things to make it more comfortable for my size but over all I dig the bike.

Once you ride a BT you won't want a sporty any more.

if you enjoy sportsters, you will love the WG. Kind of a natural next step.

Wide Glide is not meant to be a handling bike as much as your Sprotster but you will feel like a BadAss on it. I would buy one in a Sec. if I had the chance.
