Gave the bike a satin finish this weekend ..

Left the console gloss for now... kinda like the contrast but I might end up doing it later. What you guys think?

So ya wet sanded it huh? Got bored from not riding cause of rain?

Talk about some gully washers this weekend....

I hope to get released from doctors care one day this week, I am tired of not riding, and it's been too wet to go out any do anything on the bike.....

Oh! The contrast looks good.

Yeah we had some water dumped on us for sure! lol. ... actually I was at work for most of that working a long slow shift so I got some things done on the bike while I was at it lol

Just rubbed her down with #0000 Steel wool and then hand buffed out with a nice wax. Figured if i didnt like it I could always buff her back out.

I actually done it to hide some damage to my rear fender my throwover bags caused... rubbed right through the packing tape (shoulda used 2 layers i guess). It hides the damage pretty well. Damage is still there ofc but it was REALLY evident on the vivid black. .. Anyways I like the look pretty well maybe a true satin coat is in her future.

Sorry to hear your down brother... youll be in my prayers! Hit me up when your able again and maybe we can go terrorize some pavement lol

like the contrast as well..

on a side note...what pipes are those...they look like my big shots, but the ends are slashed without tips, also were they powder coated?

They are Freedom Performance Admendments. Modeled after the bigshots I presume. ..

They were ceramic black but started to rust so currently they are painted with a high temp semi gloss enamel until I can get them PCed.
