How can you tell if the wheels will fit?
I have a set of spokes right now, and I would love some mags. I have a 99 fxdx and I've been looking on craigslist for a deal. Only problem is they come off diff bikes or they don't know anything about them. Is there a trick to telling weather they will fit? I have duel front discs and think that might be a problem. I see sportster wheels all the time.. thanks guys.

Any wheel from a narrow glide front should work as long as it has 3/4" bearings. A lot of sportster wheels have the holes to mount the dual discs too. Just have to look at the hub. The rear I'm not so sure about. I know all pre 05' Dynas will work, but I'm not 100% sure about others. I think sportster and early model softails will work. I've seen guys use a deuce wheel on their dyna. Again the bearings need to be for 3/4" axle. At least on the rear you can play around with spacers easily. On the front I think it would be tricky with the dual discs. You need to make sure you have the right hub width.
