Time to change the oil on my 94 FXDWG and yes i bought the Harley service manual but it still doesnt show the location of the plug. Is it the front left 5/8th hex bolt on the jiffy side becuase there is another hex bolt on the right side rear of the pan but i think that is for the transmission? Any help would be appreciated from anyone with a 94!

 

I believe the manual does state where the drain plug is located. On my '97 WG, it is on the right side of the pan, towards the front.

 

In my manual, under Scheduled Maintenance Procedures, page 1-36...there is a diagram showing the oil & tranny drain plugs.

Oil is towards the FRONT and tranny towards the rear.

 

Towards front...L side, not R, typed incorrectly.
