Gary or anyone know how what kind of fabric is used and where I can get some? I want to spray fabric paint on them to get them a little more "dull"

Anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone put these on a bike with the "duckbill" fender? I've got an '03 FXDWG and really like these bags. Post a pic if you have one.

Would definitely like to see the step by step. Already have a old set pinched.

I forgot to do the step by step photos on this one, so I will take them as I do the other side.

Got the lid taken apart and the patterns traced.

Now we have to stretch them out to make up for how much they shrank.

Default Awesome Bags!

I got my bags last week and ran them everyday to an off-site training that required me to carry a laptop, binders, books, lunch, etc. Without these, I would've had to drive my car, which would've sucked going home from Point Loma at rush hour. They are sturdy as hell and look great on the bike.

I used a couple of small, brass padlocks to lock them to the bike. Small enough that if someone really wanted them, they could be easily cut without damaging the bike (much), but strong enough to keep honest folks honest.

Garry included some UV-protection stuff to prevent fading, which I accidently oversprayed onto my exhaust (will reapply with the bags off the bike next time)...turns out it made the black ceramic look new again. It didn't burn off or discolor after five 40 mile round trips....Bonus!

Anyway, just want to say thanks to Garry for these, and to everyone else who helped him get them out to us. Nice work!

I just got a package in the mail from Gary today. Surprised me since I didn't know it was coming. I had some protective spray and some replacement snaps. That's very good customer service there. Leatherpro is a great company to deal with and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
