I'd like my bars just 2 or 3 inches taller and an inch closer to me. Also If I could move the hand grips in an inch or two that would be nice too. I'm a short guy. 5'6". I wanted to use 4.5 risers with an inch pull back and run the stock bars. The sportster bars would probably work nice too if the move my hands in a little.

My bags came in today. They look great you have done a excellent job Gary. Cant get pics or install until next friday. Bike blew up but is under warranty and is still in the shop. It is a 2012 fxdb with 22,000 miles, I am upgrading to a 103, 211 cams, SE tappets, SE CRs. Got lucky and did not have to pay any labor at all due to the flywheel failure, I just had to pay for the SE Parts... except the new fly wheel of course. Will post pics of mounted bags when I get the bike back.

Thank you Gary

Hey guys I'm new to the site and I've been looking at buying a set of these bags from leather pros but I don't have the cash right now . After talking about them with my boss for weeks who just got a 2010 super glide , he decided he wanted a set .. so I got him Gary's number and as a Christmas bonus he bought me a set for my bike .. we're super excited and can't wait to get them

Default The new bags

So my Friend Steve calls me up yesterday morning and says "Hey Joe I know that you have a T-sport and I found these really cool T-sport bags so I bought two sets" So I say thats great Steve but you own a FXR and besides why two sets? he says " well even though you own a set of original T-sport bags I got a set for you and Dave (another Friend) I say, Well thanks for the great gift and he says "There not a gift you have to pay for them" I say, Thats great Steve but I don't need them. Hey says" OK I'll sell them to someone else. I say, Oh no I want to compare them to my original bags first then well see.

To make a lone story endless....the bags will be here Friday and I am going to be posting a comparison between the two.....Thanks Steve
Joe
