I think there may have been some in early 2004 but i did not see them so for some one to take an interest after all this time its great. I no there is a market for the bags as they can be fitted to dynas in general. Also it will kill the over pricing of tatty old over price originals and people with the original bags can now get top covers and repairs its a win win as they say
Regards Mike.
Ya it look close to connellys bags. His hook up close to the frame and lock on . The bags look the same lets see the frame do the zippers lock? On yours. I do no that connellys bsgs are no wider then 5" pulling the side out what r your? Also his close in the rest position to 2" what is yours? His bag fully unzipped is 10.5" what is yours? Can u burn your bags with a torch like he bid. I will say u did copy his idea. it's good to know we have a shop that can repair the bags if we need. thanks I'll be looking forward to your reply Mike

Nobody copied anyone ideas. both Garry and John built on the existing FXDXT bags in their own way. Guys have been trying to do this for years. Sinister wheels tried to produce these a couple years back and couldn't get it right. Nobody is copying anyone. Its free enterprise and good for consumers who have been getting gouged for 1500 bucks for OEM bags. Hats are off to John and Garry and I'm glad there are choices out there.

Wow. I'm interested in a set.

My stock bags are in good shape, leather slightly shrunk, nylon is faded.

For that price it's worth a new set.

I will PM you.

Dude, seriously get a life.

How many after market companies make 1 million parts for Harley's?

They are bringing to the table a good solid made in the USA product and all you can do is cry?

I hope you're not speaking on behalf of Connley's because you sound like a jackass.
