The foam came in and we are starting to sew the bags. It is slow going at first, but we are getting there. Hope to have the first pictures of completed bags next week.

By the time these are ready it will be set 4. It's all good as I pass along my other bags to friends for that good Harley karma.

Are you only going to make 20 sets? Or are you going to keep making them? I just want to make sure I can get a set before they're gone.

Hello there
The bags from the fxdxt tsport would be perfect for my 2005 fxdxi. I wanted to buy the t sport but were all sold out in the uk, so i got an fxdxi but i would like to replicate the model with bags and fairing. Not sure if it would be possible to get the parts to do it but good quallity bags would be a good start. There must be a market for the bags. I have seen another reproduction of the bags but it was hard to tell from the photo's they looked loose fabric and seemed to be hanging down at the back end but it was a small photo so no offence ment to the maker.
Good luck with the project.
Regards tbone

Gary, are these going to have a bracket on the bottom like the OEM bags to prevent sagging as the bags age? I'm attributing the lack of the bracket partially to conely's saggy bags. Also, put me down for a set ;-) Thanks for all your hard work.

Those were pretty impressive photos, but I had thought of standing in the bags, kinda like the pic on our website of my son standing on the bags. But without a reinforced lid, you can't really stand "on" the bags while they are on the bike, but we should be able to open the zippers enough to get get my feet in to stand "in" them. I will also try it on the stock bags, but I think it will bend that wimpy frame that is on the bottom.

Lunch is done, back to work.
