Have looked at T-Sports for sale often and the actual selling price depending on mods, miles and year is between $7-9000.00.
I paid $500 under retail for mine in mid-2002 and it took me two months to find a black one for sale in New England. Just a fact of life though that Dyna size bikes just didin't hold their value as well as the larger bikes. There is a nice T-Sport on ebay now for $7K with no bids...13K miles, original bags, fairing and bunch of upgrades...

I got a great deal on mine 6700 with 12k. Original equipment. I know the cali prices are crazy and that's why I went out of state. I don't think any 10 yr old bike is worth what some people are asking. Also look at the bikes, how long have they been for sale 6 months...more? People are looking to cash in on a fad that's all it is. How bout an update on the bags?

Update
We are still waiting on the foam, but hope to have it later this week. I was having trouble finding what I needed for our mounting points, so I decided to turn them myself. I was able to buy 9/16" diameter stainless steel rod and machine a .377" hole through the center and part them off 3/4" long. The nice thing about stainless is that you can polish it up to look like chrome, but you don't have to worry about it flaking off. I turned enough pieces for the first 20 sets of bags on Sat. morning. In the pic below you can see on the left how the docking point will be on the bike. A 1/4" large chrome spacer next to the strut, then the polished stainless steel piece, then the polished button head from the stainless steel bolt. This is just what we wanted as the button head on the bolt is around 5/8" diameter, just a little bigger than the sleeve, giving us a lip to position the saddlebag bracket.
Now to get busy plasma cutting the rest of the bracket pieces and powder coating them.
Keep ridin'
