I am 5'6 and ride a 12 wide glide. I could stand to get a reduced reach seat, but its not a necessity.

That's good to know. I can't climb on it until Saturday but if all goes well, I will be riding it home and after owning about 12 motorcycles in my life, I will finally be a Harley owner!

I'm 5'6" with a 29" inseam. I went with FL style floor boards which gives you a balance between mids and forwards. I began with a reduced reach seat but the wife insisted on a comfy Memory Foam/Gell insert seat so I changed that out. I can flat foot on the ground and can knock out 200+ miles non-stop with ease and do 350 in a day with perfect comfort.
You will still need the reduced reach brake rod but that is about it. The shifter you can adjust to accomidate your reach.

Inseam number is most important. Three guys could all be the same height but have dramatically different experiences with forward controls.

Anyone else have the six million dollar man action figure that could lift the engine block when they were a kid?
