Anyone want to rent me their PC-V auto tune?
From everything I'm reading, after the auto tune reads the afr a few times and sets up the trim levels, there is really nothing more it needs to do...
So it got me thinking? Why buy one if I can pay someone to borrow it. A dyno is $250/300..the autotune kit is around $250..so maybe someone here has the PC-V auto tune and wouldn't mind lending it out for people to borrow for a small fee?
Right??

From what I understand, the PCV does not make changes in the ECM, unlike some other kinds of tuners. It stores the map and any changes it makes from the auto tune in its module. So you can spend the time (if you can find someone who will lend it to you) to install it and the O2 sensors, and as soon as you return it to its owner you're back where you started. Needing to buy a tuner.
If I'm wrong someone will tell me soon enough.
