Default Need help diagnosing problem

My 10 dwg has stage 1 intake gutted cats and drilled baffles. It has pcv on it. It has ran good for 2 weeks in this configuration. Today I took a short ride and shut the bike off. Went to fire it up five minutes later and killed the battery trying to restart it. I jump started it and rode it back home (rather spiritedly) and it ran fine. Later on in the day I went to go for another ride and it fired right up but started missing badly.
I have

- fully charged the battery and verified the voltage
- swapped plugs
- checked battery terminals
- checked plug wires
- checked fuses
- swapped pc maps several times

I'm at a loss for what else it could be.

Just got back from a ride and seen this. You nailed it! I washed it this morning. It's wierd that it ran fine for a couple of hours after the wash. I got desperate and was going to try unhooking the pc completely when I discovered a TON of water in the connector.

Dry it thoroughly with a hair dryer and then pack it with grease.

Not necessarily.

Once the contacts are clean and dry its fine to just put some ordinary cheap grease or vaseline around plugs and sockets as water-resistant packing to prevent water getting in again.

Buy dielectric grease if you like though.
