ORIGINAL: steelcowboy

I've always been partial to Stone cold and HArley Dvidson and the Marlboro Man. But I'm not quite yet 30 so I'm not to familiar with some ofthe others your talking about
Im with you on that one.Thought it was pretty cool, and Don Johnson did a great job in that movie.

Easy Rider,

This movie brought choppers into the forefront of the American conciousness,(whatever that means).

This movie was the first to actually place a biker in a sympathetic situation in the minds of the average American. Certainly more than "Hell's Angel's 69"

Beyond the Law - starring Charlie Sheen
1992
Dan Saxon is an undercover cop who infiltrates a biker gang to nail the scum behind a drug-smuggling operation. In order to maintain the trust of the gang's leader, he must commit ever more dangerous and heinous crimes. Just how far 'beyond the law' will Saxon go

52 here too......[sm=outcold.gif]

Wild Ones was cool for the times, and Easy Rider was psychadelic but had some rad choppers. Any of them are great watching but some had great mc scenes, like the Great Escape with McQueen doing his scramble and jump. Also one of those 48 Hr movies where the two biker guys attack the bus with Eddie Murray on it had some really cool scenes and sounds. Anything like that is cool especially now with snow and ice on the ground.... [:@]

Although most of the "bikesploitation" movies are more than a bit dated...i'd have to say the Wild Angels. Saw it when i was a kid and it ruined me for life! The 1st scene where the little kid on the trike rides up to Fonda as he takes a hit and kick starts his bike is a classic! And hey, how bout Davy Allan and the Arrows fuzzed out soundtrack and "Blues Theme"? Yeah, they seemed more like beatnicks than bikers...but in a few years they would turn into hippies on bikes via Easy Rider.....and i liked that flick too.At least it portrayed bikers in a more sympathetic light......

Different type but nobody mentioned On Any Sunday. It made Motorcycles in general sit better with the public.
