Default Kills at idle sometimes

Lately my '07 Dyna acts like it's going to kill at idle, but just sometimes. I may be wrong, but I think it happens more often when I have less than a half tank of gas. Does that make any sense? Any ideas what's going on?

Don't think it has to do with your tank. The usual first suspect in an idle problem is a dirty IAC. Clean it with throttle body or carb cleaner and see if that helps.

You could have a pin hole in the fuel line sucking air when the fuel level gets below the hole. Remove your fuel cap and look for splashing fuel.

Forgot about that one. It happened to me and with less than half a tank I could hear the gas pissing against the inside.

The cheapest little test would be a can of throttle body cleaner, apparently carb cleaner is not reccomended for FI systems, it can't hurt to try and it would clean out your TB, because finding a pin hole or just openning up the tank to have a look will cost way more than that can- just in parts never mind time-. So if you can't hear gas peeing against the inside of the tank I would start there.

I don't hear anything inside the tank. I'll try cleaning the IAC. Thanks much for the help!
