Default Saddle Bags . . . again

I have done much searching and can't find the answer. I have a 2012 Fat Bob with detachable side plates and back rest. Is there a set of leather saddle bags that will fit this configuration without a turn signal relo? Do I need new mounting hardware?

Most any of the throw-overs will work. Get the 3M clear tape to prevent paint rub-off and you are set.

Any of our LP3100 series bags (like in my avatar) will fit fine without relocating the signals on a Fat Bob. All hardware needed is included for your bike and yes it works with the detachable backrest. Takes about 15 min. to install the hardware on the bike.

Keep ridin'

Gary, I really like the bags . . . but your page says " All Dyna models except 06-09 Wide Glides and ALL Fat Bobs require rear turn signal relocation- see Dyna turn signal info."

???

I just received my LeatherPro bags for the Fat Bob . . . Love Them! The quality is beyond words. Nice work Garry. Now to install them.

BTW, I have the detach sideplate and I noticed that after installing your hardware the pins stick out a bit far with no hardware/bags attached, I can live with this but I have a question. I saw a youtube video where a guy had these real nice chrome "covers" for the mounting studs. Have you seen these? Do you have anything like this?

No, we have tried several different things, but have not been happy with any of them. You can take a buffing wheel on a drill with some metal polish and make them look like chrome. That is what we did to the bolt heads. Stainless polishes up good.
