Exclamation Some cam advice from the pro builders

First of all I have the SE Pro Stage 4 103 kit in my 2011 Wide Glide and it does rip but looking for a little more especially down lower. My kit cam with the 110+ SE heads and the 260 cam. I know the cam is where I'm losing my low end but I know theres better choices out there. I'm thinking a Woods Cam but unsure which one. I have a Woods W6H in my 96 Road King and for a old Evo it rips. I'm also thinking of goimg with a .030 Head gasket in place of the SE head gaskets which I believe are .045. How much difference is there truly in regards to the HGs? Is anyone else running a Woods cam with a similar setup? I did take 2nd place at LA Harleys Dyno Shootout a couple weeks ago but Like I said I want more down lower without sacrificing to much HP up top. My best run was 107.18 HP which I've run better but it was also 85 degrees out and humid. My torque was almost 105. The dyno sheets on Woods site are showing in the 115 to 120 hp and same TQ with almost the same setup I have.

Stage 4 is 4.9 SE injectors, 58mm TB, SE 110+ heads, 260 SE cams I'm running the SE heavy Breather and a D&D Fatcat 2 into 1 with big bore baffle. Any suggestions and comments are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance Mark

I'm not a pro builder but to get a little more bottom end you probably need to go with a little smaller throttle body.
You can take your stock TB and have JET port it for slightly more flow but to mainly clean it up. This will give you more bottom end vs the 58mm and I'll bet you'll lose nothing on top either.

Higher compression whether through thinner gaskets or higher compression pistons will get more on the bottom. If your kit came with perfect fit pushrods, you need to be careful running thinner gaskets. Probably need to install adjustables push rods if you go that route.

Throw a 30 tooth pulley on there, that will bring out the bottom end. They are not that expensive.

I forgot to mention the kit cam with 10.5 SE high compression pistons and my old TB already sold it. Isn't the stock one only 48mm or am I wrong

IIRC the stock is 46mm ... you could go with a 50mm SE throttle body ...

What is the combustion chamber volume on the 110 heads ... if it is greater than stock, the 10.5 pistons might not be getting you to 10.5:1 CR ...

Cams are pretty much always going to be a trade off ... you might consider the Andrews 48 or as I understand the new 57 is a higher lift version of the 37 ...

A 30-tooth pulley obviously has no impact on the performance ... it lowers the final drive ratio so at the rear wheel you're taking more revs to get to the same speed ... the effect is that your higher RPM power curve is getting better utilized ... again, it is a trade off ... you may not like turning another 200 RPM at freeway speed ... it is an option that a lot of guys like, however ...

Let us know what you decide to do ... post pics ...
