Sounds like the end of the cable came lose from the ramp leaver for some reason. Have you taken the cover that says "six speed" off to inspect the ramp assembly?

OK.. so I put the clutch cable adjust way back up next to the lock nut, took the exhaust off to get to the clutch actuation cover and got that off.... the Inner Ramp did look like it was not sitting at “6 oclock” so I pushed it back into that position. When I simulated pulling the clutch lever the inner ramp lifted so I think the 3 ball bearings are still where they should be. Put everything back, adjusted the clutch cable and exactly the same symptoms... no clutch bite. I’ve given the bike to a tech now as I need to get it fixed and back on the road... will be interested to see what he finds.
