I installed a Jagg on my 2007 a couple of years ago. I did not measure the temperature difference, so I have no idea if it does anything significant or not. It just makes me feel better, I suppose.
I installed the HD one just for piece of mind. I don't like that the motor is only air cooled so I opted to add the oil cooler on it. I really think it should come from the factory with one on it though.
i did mine cause it was basily free... buddy gave me a sandwich plate... i used an Lochart cooler i had from a sport bike... coated it and installed it... i also like it cause it let me move it high on the down tubes to get more air into her
I change the oil in exactly the same was as I did before I installed the cooler. I am sure a little oil stays in the cooler and does not drain, but I am not worried about it. Even without a cooler you never get all the oil out of the motor anyway.

Same here. We get a lot of triple digit days in the summer, so I figure my engine needs all the help it can get.
I've got coolers on both bikes, 02 FXD carbed and 05 FXDLI. I usually take a de-stress ride after work and lately it's been in the mid 90's here. Also use syn oil, a bit over kill maybe but it's my motor and a major investment.
