Default Higher Risers with Apes?

I have 14" Apes on my bike with the factory riser. I was thinking about going with either a 3" or 4" riser to bring the bars up just a tad more. Anyone have any pics with apes and taller risers to help me make a decision?

Thanks,
Lee

After looking for pics online, I've found a coupe, but couldn't find anything on this site. Hmmm, wondering if it's because it's not something people are doing.

I think apes look better with as short a riser you can get.

tall apes with high risers look very tacky on a bike. i really dont see why someone would want to ruin the look of the front end by going that route. if you wanted to move your apes up you shoulda bought taller apes.

I have not got around to figuring out how to load pics here. I have 12 inch Chubby Wild Ones with a 4 inch rise. I tie the bar bag there so it doesn't matter. Also makes the bars more solid. I went with the 1 1/4" bars. The thinner bars have that light weight metric look. If you decide you want to lower the bars you can. Then sell the risers here. Keep in mind that I ride for comfort and fun and not for a fashion show.

Please explain how tall risers make the bars more solid ? as i cant see that it would make any difference.
Its all a matter of choice i guess however i still think it looks **** some realy short risers on tall apes looks the nuts though

Simple math. What takes more effort to move, a 16" breaker bar or a 12 " breaker bar.

So your saying it is easier to move a longer braker bar i aggree following that logic it would be easier to move longer risers ! or am i missing something ?

Simple math and you missed it. Where do the bars attach?
