Hey guys... as some of you know i have a 2002 fxdxt and me and the wife ride 2-up alot on the bike and i commute daily on it as well..

We have tried many different seats and are we're still looking for that extra 1/2-1" in separation from my wife and my back on the t-sport. We have sat on the touring bikes and to be honest i feel better sitting on the t-sport... we have a fxr and it seems to be a bit better than the dyna.
When i was looking at the mustang seats for the t-sport i noticed that the same year wide glides on some of the seats would not fit and as per mustangs website they said they made them different to take advantage of the wide glides ....2" difference ?

Has anyone gone from a standard dyna to a wide glide and rode 2-up and noticed a difference in the passenger-driver room?

 

according to the mustang seat website... they said the "rear" seat for the wide glides were 2" longer "touring seats".... over the other dyna seats... is this true? If so this might be perfect and will look for a wide glide...

anyone have a wide glide with the mustang touring seat that use to have a regular dyna with the same seat and notice the length difference?

 

When I had my FXDX I had the opportunity to ride my buddy's 04 Wideglide a few times. We both had Mustang seats and I can't honestly say that there was any noticeable difference in the seats as far as passenger room goes. If you have a sissy bar then probably the extra length of the seat is under the bar anyways.
