Yeah, I could probably fix it myself. But, why? It's brand new.
There are two roll-around tool boxes here. A tire changer, and more.
Love to tinker, - and occasionally build one.
Here's a nice '53 panhead. Why yes, those ARE brand new cases.
I have to say that I am very surprised that this is an issue, and appears to continue to be an issue.
Does this affect any of the other rubber-mounted models?

I've read several posts about this issue...most on Switchbacks & Wide Glides, but have read about all dynas with this issue.
Every time I have read where it has been cured it has been the front motor mount not isolating the engine from the frame..
Good luck...my new FXDC is as smooth as silk at speed & yours should be too.

Have the dealer check the front motor mount for sure. Make sure that there's nothing rubbing the swing arm or frame. Example: I had a hose clamp that held part of exhaust heat shield rubbing the frame. Once I backed it off, no more vibration. Also, I've heard where something to do with the kick stand can cause vibration.

I have a 2012 FXDC as well...with about 1500 miles. I thought it had more vibration then my 2002 dyna glide but it doesn't have the shake that you are describiing. I was told there is a service bulletin on the issue but I haven't seen it yet. Good luck. I haven't taken it back to the dealer yet..I'll put more miles on it first.

I had a serious vibration problem with mine, since about the first week I had my bike. The dealer said "it's normal, it's a Harley" , so I went to another dealer, and another, and another, and so on. They all said the same thing..."Harleys vibrate". Well, DUH, but this was NOT a normal Harley vibration. My friend has the same model and year as my bike, and his didn't have the vibration mine did.
I found a dealer that agreed that some mounts had problems, some need shims, some need to be aligned, and they would fix it. They called me to pick it up, and said they replaced the transmission. WTF? I was PISSED. There was nothing wrong with my trans, and they didn't do anything with the mounts. I STILL HAD THE SAME RIDICULOUS VIBRATION.
After my warranty ran out, I bought both front and rear mounts, replaced them myself, and guess what?.....that's right,...THE VIBES ARE GONE. It's like having a new bike:-)
