That is the brand I got. Also, I suggest you place it as far to once side or the other as you can, placing it the center doesn't leave quite enough room to separate the fittings after you release it, by offsetting it you will be able to more easily bend the line and separate the two halves. I'm going to move mine next time the tank comes off.

PS - be sure to cover your rocker box before removing your line and especially before installing the tank with the QD's on there or you will scratch it. Also, protect that compliance sticker on the RH down tube, if you get gas on it the printing will come off.

Forgot about that. Definatley cover the rocker covers with something when loosening the tank. It will drop down and could scratch them.

I can confirm the fuel line to be 1/4", I replaced it with a 5/16 and squeeze the clamps. 1/4" ins't a common size, that's all I had at the time I re and re the tank.

Got it off, no prooblem. Now before I put the tank back on I'll be installing that QD.
I hear ya about putting it on one side. That'll make it much easier to operate.

Hey thanks again folks, as usual, BIG HELP!
Ride safe...

Ok, I got the QD. Now I need to know what clamps to use. Regular hose clamps aren't very attractive and the stock ones seem to need a special tool to crimp them down once on the hose.
Ideas?

OK, I think I figured it out. I do like the OEM clamps so I'll get this,
Amazon Amazon
and this,
Amazon Amazon
and call it a day...
thoughts?

I got the clamPs at the dealer and some cheap CV boot Pliers off eBay and they look just like the originals.
