heavier fork oil?

Spoke with a local independent in my area and he also recommended the 20 weight.
I changed mine to 20 weight and it has really improved the ride and handling of my bike. will never go back to the lighter oil.
You will not be disappointed

So I know this has been covered before but I forgot...What is the weight of the regular HD fork oil, the heavy, and the heavy heavy? I'm thinking to just go one step up for now

Beats me with a big stick, chief. Was reading in another thread where it was noted that actual weights of fork oil, as compared to labeled weights, vary widely between brands. Probably safe to assume ( although you know what they say about assumptions) that HD fork oil runs from 5w to 10W for the B&E, and 15W to 20W for the Screaming Eagle Heavy Duty and Extra Heavy Duty. If you like the ride a bit more plush, better go with the Heavy Duty; canyon carving is yer big thing, go with the Extra Heavy Duty. But thas jus my

I had expemented on my sporty and the 15w was just right for me. I had the heavy, heavy in it and it was too much. I', thinking the SE heavy is 15w so that is what I'm going to try unless someone can talk me out of it.

I'm eventually going to put ricors and amzoil in it but for now I'll do what I can for just over free

I agree Joe. HD fork oil = *****. I put in 20wt pj fork oil and the front end "chattering" went away immediately. Can't wait to get my intiminators now. :-)
