You can use whatever bars you want with the risers as long as they are 1 1/8" at the clamp. He can send you sleeves for the controls.

Total noob here, so I apologize for what are probably idiotic questions.... What is that thingy around your headlight? What's it called; is this what a quarter fairing is? What's it for; wind deflection? Who makes it?

It's a night rod headlight visor. Just for looks really. When you run tall risers, in my opinion, you need something to break up the look of the front end. There's a pic posted when I just had tall T bars and you can see how the bars look out of place without it.
