fxdx stock shocks or aftermarket?
Been thinking about changing my rear shocks out on my fxdxt. Anybody have any experience with the stock ones compared to ricors ohlins or works performance black trackers? Was there a big difference between the shocks? Just trying to see if I'm wasting money changing or if its worth it

Depends on your weight and how you ride it.
The Compression and Rebound are what you need to pay close attention to.
1) Sit on the bike with the front brake applied.
2) Bounce with all your weight and lift your weight quickly.
Does the bike dive and recover?
Next test rolling with something like a speed bump.
You want the front and rear absorbing and recovering together.
Those are the basics we use on the track, the rest is experience and brains.
Yes if you can afford it you can purchase much better Compression and Rebound.
The stock FXDX rear shocks and cartridge forks do a very good job however, when properly adjusted, with proper fork height.
