Your ride looks good!!! very nice I understanding the feel.
I just went to a khrome works drag from mini apes and the handling is way different.
At being closer to 50 then 40 I do not think I could handle those bars for to far a ride
Anyone think of (bitwell) clubmans for bars? Inverted http://www.biltwellinc.com/images/pr...man_chrome.jpg

Thanks guys. There are a lot of great suggestions mentioned that I might consider. Stuff that I haven't even thought about which is awesome.
I want to do most of the major work in the winter if I decide to go through with it. I want to get the H-D chopped fender kit and possibly powder coat a few pieces black. I like the idea of having the option to go to back to stock so I don't want to chop the original fender. I'll definitely look into rear-sets as well possibly the xr1200's.
Love to see the aerocoupe getting some attention.

I'd suggest trying what others suggested, dropping the trees lower on the tubes and mounting the clip-ons at the highest point rather than under the top tree. Plus it saves a great deal of work and gives you potentially a better seating position.

Cool idea. Does need a bit more work to look finished. Maybe losing the console for something low profile, like the piece they use on the Blackline Softail. Possibly a small cafe-racer style fairing to cover up all the excess wires since you don't want to change them out. Definitely chop the rear fender, lose the highway pegs. Could be totally badass when you're done. Keep going!
