Hey Lolife, i bought a cobalt blue street bob cause they didnt have any flat black available for quite awhile, and i knew i could paint it myself. There were 2 choices one was paint it black and clear it with a flat or second was to use a product called hot rod black by a company called hot hues. I went with the hot hues product because it was a single stage application. I think it looks great and it stands up very well. As far a burnishing with the denim, it will over time because there is nothing you can do with it to protcet it from ware and tare.

I am going to do them again as im not happy with the HD emblem. This time i am thinking of doing some sort of old school flame job, i really like the look of the bold white flames with red pin stripes. I dont think i will do this my self, ive got a friend that is a painter that has a shop at home.
