Default just installed PCV, have a question...

Everything went well, installed pipes, air cleaner amd pcv on my '08 fat bob. Ill post pics when i get home. My question is the stock connector(gray) and the pcv connector (black), are now connected resting outside, in front of the electrical box, is this ok? Its about an inch to 1 1/2" from the rear cyclyndar and rear pipe. I tried geting it behind the box but just seems there is no room. Any thoughts?

You should just lift off your seat and pul the slack form the pc-v unit up under the seat with the pc-v ,that way you won't have trouble getting the connectors far enough from the rear cyl and wrap the slack under the seat with the unit. 1.5" is ok but there is lots of room back there, and it'll be further out of the rain.
PS careful when washing the bike the grey on black connector lets water in and then you short out until you pull the plug apart and dry it out = bummer.

Go back to the drawing board and get that **** under the seat! It'll fit, trust me.
I have a PC-V, load equalizer, Back-Off module, battery tender plug, & 2 sets of heated gear plugs under the seat.
And the PC-V is mounted to the backbone with a USB cable routed into the fuse panel.

Tip - don't disconnect the battery, but loosen up the tray and lean the battery out a bit. I did the same with the fuse panel while routing everything. I had room to the rear of the battery to stuff my load equalizer, but not accessible until I loosened up the battery. Once everything is close to where you want it, then you can tighten everything up. I have the big black & gray plug sitting on top of everything and the first thing you see when I pull my seat.

PS - dielectric grease is VERY cheap insurance.

The connectors will fit behind the electrical box. There is a space under the box where the connectors fit. Watch this video it helped me out alot. The connectors are shown being fit behind the electrical box around 3:15, good luck.

That is how mine used to fit. Just not so extremely hidden back in case water ever got to the plug and I had to pull over to dry it out , say for example after the moco gave it back and had some kid go hog wild with the spray wash and soak the plug down.....miles from home!

That is the video I was looking for, forgot it was V&H. That is the best place to put the connectors, never had a single problem with it there when I had the Fuelpak or the PCIII. Fortunately with the Thundermax it is no longer a concern.
Thanks for finding that video.
