Default Burly rear shock for Wide Glide...

Gentlemen,

I just placed an order for the Burly rear shocks (10.5). The part # is 1202B.

I have a 2012 Wide Glide. Can anyone confirm this is the correct shock?

On the Burly site, they do not specifically state any shock for the 2012 Wide Glide.

Thanks alot

Yep. Those are the black slammers for a Dyna. Same ones I have on my 2012 Fat Bob

Awesome, I should have mine put on by this weekend. $160 bucks, can't beat that. Lowers the bike and blacks the springs out. One of the best MODs for the money so far.

You will love the look of the bike lowered. After I did mine on my super glide I liked the look so much I had to do the front also. Since you did lower the back did you order a shorter kick stand? You will want one.

I did not order a shorter kick stand, I will look into that. Thanks.

I think, because the wide glide has such a nice rake to it, just lowering the back will make the rake more obvious.

I have had mine on for over a year now and still love the way they perform. I even rode them from Louisiana to New Jersey, Philly area last year this time, so I know they will handle the long hauls with no problem..............

This year I am going to modify my front tubes to be more responsive, and smoother acting, although I will leave the same ride height.

For those with the Wide Glide fender, either on a Fat Bob or Wide Glide, Do you ride 2 up with the 10.5 shocks? I am looking at getting the 2010 Wide Glide Fender and putting it on my Fat bob but OL likes to ride with me....want to know if i can do this without rubbing the wires....dont care about scraping the pegs.

I have 11 inch socks and ride two up. Only .5 diff from the slammers and I don't have issues. I just lowered the rear as well left the front the same,I too like that look better than lowering ft and rear. Post pics when your done.
