I like to have fun in the twisties, and I dont want to be scraping or bottoming out all the time. Not sure if that .5" difference is worth the problems it could cause...
My wife and I together weigh about 300 lbs. I don't have any bottoming issues with her on the bike...

I have gone on two rides 2up since throwing on the Burly's. The first ride was pretty short, about 20 miles and I did not bottom out at all. The second ride was about 60-70 miles and I definitely bottomed out on a couple of pot holes that I could not avoid. The shocks were set in the softest setting. I have since made them one setting stiffer in an attempt to prevent bottoming out. I inspected the tire after the rides and noticed that there were little gouges from bottoming out and probably hitting the backseat nuts. I am not worried about them though, they are tiny and wide glide tires have tubes. I weigh 180, my girl weighs 120.

Overall, I am very happy with the look and feel of the shocks. I did bottom out a couple times riding two up but have not bottomed out at all when riding alone.

Yeah I would def think youde want to be on a higher setting with 2up. I haven't put mine down to the softest setting yet they came on the highest and I've been goin down one at a time but sounds like they're stiff enough for one person on the lowest so I'm just gonna throw em down there tonight. I will be doin some 2up eventually I gotta cpl girls that keep askin me when were gonna ride lol curious what my sweet spot will be, probably around 300lb total as well. Themouth what setting r u on when goin 2up?
