Will the bearings for a 25mm work? 1" and 25mm are quite close.
25mm will not work correctly.

u will need to buy new 25mm bearings and an axle sleeve for each wheel...

i think El Rey said no to using a 25mm axle "with" 1" bearings

Ok thanks that's what I thought I wound need to do.

But now I have another stupid question. What's the deal with these sealed bearings vs non sealed? My question is if I got a set of 1999 wheels I'd have to machine the hole to accept a 25mm axel anyway do couldn't I just put the new sealed bearings in?

Not to highjack the thread but is it possible to mate a caliper and rotor to my wheel? I ask because I noticed that there were bolts on the right side as well, so it was tapped for a reason. I know I'll need a fork lower to mount the caliper to, any intel would be awesome. I also believe I'll need a new master cylinder...

Ya the stock streetbob front is already set up for dual disks. Just need to get a right side lower from a fatbob for the caliper
