Before you take the Springer plunge, be aware that most Springers are designed for Softail and pre Evo Harley necks. Very few will work on Dyna's, Sportsters or Touring frames without extensive modification. I was able to get a DNA Springer on my Low Rider, but it took a ton of work and time. The only Springer I am aware of that is a direct bolt on is the Paughco and its a two thousand dollar part. I am currently running the Paughco and am very pleased with the quality compared to the DNA. It would be a good idea to make a few calls and verify with the manufactures what will bolt on your bike or you may be looking at a ton of unexpected work and a lot less turning radius than you want. Springers are cool as hell, but a Dyna is a weird animal sometimes.

I couldn't agree more. Its crazy! These fools put on giant apes, slam them to the weeds, install rediculously sized front and rear tires, uncomfortable seats, put the tail lights where they can't hardly be seen, install saddlebags, tour packs, windshields...... its just silly. Why ruin the bikes handling by creating something unique. Makes no sense at all.
