I made around 12000 km with the dunlops (used them until death)
Just bought Pirelli night dragons ... so far theres a significant difference in the handling, way beter on cornering and on wobeling. As far as the km I can take out of them, gotta wait a while to know.

I got about 11,000 out of my stock dunlop then got a avon cobra and got 7,000 out of it. Just mounted a new avon last week. It sticks a lot better than the dunlop but being softer rubber you don't get the miles

Just replaced my Michelin Scorchers with Metzeler ME880's.
Front - 100/90/19
Rear - 170/60R/17

Awesome tires. That rear tire is so smooth on the highway. No more following rain grooves!

Had Michelin Commander II's installed about 1500 miles ago. Michelin claims twice the mileage over competition and up to 20,000 miles+ life. I hope that claim holds up. Got 11,000 out of stock rear but was getting pretty slick and front was all weathercracked.

Smoother ride, handles great with no following grooves like the Dunflops did. Can't say about wet pavement handling cause it only rains about 10 times a year here in the desert.

I'm satisfied as hell so far though. Were priced competively with Metzelers and Avons.
