I think I am going to break down the stock wheels I took off and powder coat the rims and hubs, my question is what with the wheel bearings only having 2000 miles on them, ideally I'd like to save them even though I expect I know the answer. Can the hubs be coated with the bearings installed or will the grease run out during baking? What would be the approximate cost of coating a pair of rims and hubs?

 

bearings have to be pulled man... i only charge $20 a wheel to pull and replace the bearings for my customers... really depends what your looking to have done on the wheels for costs... anywhere from $85 and up depending on what you want to be done..
for the bearings, with only 2g on them... hell ya i would reuse them
