Hey guys, I know it's been done but I figured I would share. I installed some BCT monster baffles in the ends of my stock header pipes (instead of in slipons because they are not big enough for mounting in the muffler). The bike is mapped for the VAnce quiet baffles that I had in and after a quick ride there is no backfiring or perceived loss of power. I had read about someone here mounting the baffles in the headers as I have done so I'm assuming there isn't an issue with it. Here is a pic so you can see the mounting bolt and there is plenty of room to mount up the muffler clamps and heat shields. All in all, it was super easy thanks to this site and I encourage anyone who wants to add sound on the cheap or if they like stock exhaust look to do this.
