Default 2012 FXDWG Bags?

I bought my '12 Wide Glide in the Fall and I am now wanting bags. No one seems to make mounting hardware for it.
Krome Werks in in the midst of making them so that you do NOT have to relocate signals, and that is my preferred method, as I really like the *** end of this bike. Any help is appreciated.

When I got mine, I knew I was giving up bags as nothing was gonna look right IMO.

I got a T-Bag roll bag and when I need to carry something I strap it on, takes less than 30 seconds.

Half the crap in the bags on my old bike was never used in the 7 yrs I had it...LOL

That's what I have on my bike (and my bike is on their site for the DB05 bag) and I really like mine.

So you are running each side as solo bags?

You can get one of those. I'm considering one for my WG http://www.bikersfriend.com/

I'm not sure of your question but if you mean are we running a bag on each side like saddle bags the answer, for me, is no. I'm just running the one bag on the right side.

The big issue with the FXDWG isn't turnsignals, it's the license plate holder. If you relocate your license plate then you could put solo bags on each side no problem. If not, you'd have to find two different solo bags...one that is larger to maximize the space on the right side, and then a shorter one that won't interfere with the license plate on the left side...or just go with one style bag that's smaller so it will fit on both sides.

Something along these lines? We just came out with these bags for the new Wide Glides that don't require turn signal relocation (not even on our web site yet). They are thick leather and plastic reinforce like all our bags. They have a moulded ABS back to hug the bike close and yet give maximum volume. They have locking lids and they are quick detach. You do have to use our license plate extender that moves the plate straight back about 2 inches. Prices start at $679.

Garry, you have peaked my interest. That would be perfect. I just need to sell the wife on the idea of spending $700 now on it. I really like the design, just very pricy right now, when things are pretty tight. I will need to take on a few more gun builds to afford it.
