Default So why did you remove your Xieds?

I have been reading many post on the Nightrider Xieds. It seems like the general opinion on this mod is very positive. Better performance, less popping, less surging, cooler running bike, richer AF ratio... The list goes on.

So why have you removed this mod from your bike?

I still have mine, but most I have seen go with an adjustable tuner of some sort (PC, TTS, SERT, Etc)
I'm still happy with mine, but will replace them with a Power Vision when I get around to the engine/exhaust mods (suspension is a priority now)

Had them with just high flow AC and slip ons but got a good deal on a PC-V when I installed my pipes so upgraded to that. Still have XIED's on my Ultra but I don't plan on doing anything else to that.

ditto, very happy with it, even after snapping the mount in half, breaking a clamp and having to re-weld the forward lower tab LOl
its getting louder all the time.

Called bub's, emailed them a pic and had a new part in about 2 days. Great customer service. no charge... no problems... Kudo's to Bub Reinhart
