I know this has been brought up before but not specifically with our higher bikes. Anyone have a problem not running a belt guard? Upper or lower? I don't have an upper and don't want to pay $100 for a wrinkle black belt guard so just trying to find out if I should.

 

higher bikes, whats a dxt? lots of ppl running without guards, i wouldn't lose any sleep about not having one. You could probably find a good deal on one here that somebody doesnt want. I have the lower black one Id be happy to part with

 

I took my belt gaurd off because my side mount broke the tap. My daughter is almost old enough to go on the back but without gaurd makes me nervous with those little feet. No probs without gaurd.

I use a nice looking satin black upper metal guard for passenger safety but no lower guard.

 

You know what this damn belt guard cost new? I just checked, $122.50. That's with a $2.50 discount. I have one I wont use any more. Mine is like new. PM me with an offer and we well see what we can do. I was going to list it in the for sale section with other FXDX parts I took off.
