Can someone please enlightenment me, why are the FXDX T saddlebags so desirable? You would think that after all this time an aftermarket company would make a set that could rival the stock FXDX T bags. I've seen these bags, in used condition, go for close to a $grand on ebay and craigslist.

Any ideas? Any bags that are close in comparison to the stock FXDX T bags.

Out here in CA, they're going for $1500-$2000.

 

The add was actually for the touring seat, not the bags in the picture.

 

Exactly, my point, why are they commanding such a high price? What is so great about them?

For me it's because they are the best looking bags that aren't leather.....

 

People want what they can't get - so the price goes up.

Had a $2200.00 price on the listing, make offer in the ad. I know I saw this ad earlier in the month when I was in Raleigh and the price was much less. I should have bought them then. Guess the guy got hip to what the market will bear.
